This work for Belonging to the Night poses as something of an ornamental suite: a collection of 'archaeology' taken from the landscape and composed in reference to domestic museological display. Such mimicry in both appearance and composition are a ruse to tap subtle uncanniness, where history -propositional or not, displayed, arranged and dependant on materiality- gets blurry.
